Ojo Shrub Co. is a beverage concept featuring drinking vinegars, or shrubs. The logo design alludes to the name, as ojo means “eye” in Spanish. My Venezuelan friend would often shout “Ojos!” as we would cheers a drink, implying that one must make eye contact while clinking glasses. The two eyes are meant to represent the O’s, while the nose in the center is made from a capital J. Avenir Black was used for the J as well as the rest of the logo’s typography. The logo design and colors for Ojo Shrub Co. were chosen to capture the brand’s spirit of fun, quirkiness, and community.
